Use the transcript during the call, not after it

Most note-taking tools hand you a summary once the meeting is over. Call Transcriber is made for the moments that matter while you are still talking: the order number, the exact objection, the address, the date someone promised.

  • Copy their last message with one shortcut, from any app, even when the window is hidden.
  • Copy the last 5, 10 or N lines, the lines you select, or the whole call so far.
  • Only their words, only yours, or both, with or without timestamps and names.
  • Paste anywhere: Salesforce, HubSpot, Zendesk, Notion, Google Docs, email or a chat reply.

How it works

From download to your first transcript in two minutes

No meeting bots, no integrations, no admin settings. If your PC can hear the call, Call Transcriber can write it down.

Install and sign in

Download the app for Windows 10 or 11 and sign in with your email. Your 30-day free trial starts right away.

Take your call as usual

Start a call in Zoom, Teams, Meet, WhatsApp or any other app. Transcribing starts by itself a few seconds in.

Read, copy, paste

Your words appear as "Me", the other side as "Them" (or their name). Copy any part with a click or a shortcut.

Features

Everything you need on a call, nothing you don't

A focused Windows app that does one job very well: a live, accurate, private transcript you can actually use.

Floating captions on top of your call

A see-through caption window floats over Zoom, Teams, Meet or WhatsApp with the latest lines and up to three copy buttons of your choice. Colours, transparency and size are yours to set, and clicks can pass through to your call.

Floating captions: a see-through window with the live conversation on top of a video call

Both sides, live

Your microphone and the call audio are transcribed separately, so you always know who said what, even on laptop speakers without a headset. Text appears within a second or two.

Copy while the call is still going

One click copies the other person's last message, the last few lines or everything so far. System-wide shortcuts like Ctrl+Alt+T work from inside your call app. How live copy works

Starts by itself

Detects calls in Zoom, Teams, Meet, WhatsApp, Skype, Discord, Slack, Webex and Phone Link. Or press Start Call for any other app.

No bot, no host needed

Nothing joins the meeting and nobody has to enable captions. It works the same whether you host or just attend.

Private and offline

Speech is recognised on your PC by an offline speech model. Audio and transcripts never leave your computer.

  • Speech model runs on your PC
  • No audio uploaded
  • No tracking in the app
  • Works without internet

Every call saved and searchable

Calls are saved as they happen. Search names, notes and words said, then copy or export to TXT, Markdown, JSON or SRT.

Why not a meeting bot or built-in captions?

Bots join your meeting and upload the audio. Built-in captions vanish when the call ends and only work inside one app. Call Transcriber gives you your own transcript, on your PC, in every call app.

Private by design

Your calls stay on your PC

Cloud note-takers upload your conversations to someone else's servers. Call Transcriber runs the speech recognition on your own computer.

  • Audio is processed in memory and never uploaded. Saving audio is off by default.
  • Transcripts are files on your PC that you can search, export or delete.
  • No analytics or tracking in the app. We only know your email and your plan.
  • Works without internet during calls; it checks your licence once a week.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does Call Transcriber join my meeting as a bot?

No. It runs on your Windows PC and listens to your own microphone and speakers, like a headset does. Nobody on the call sees a bot or gets an invitation.

Can I copy the transcript while the call is still going?

Yes, that is what it is built for. Copy everything so far, the last 5 or 10 lines, or just the other person's last message with one click or a global shortcut such as Ctrl+Alt+T, then paste it into your CRM, notes, email or chat while you keep talking.

Which apps does it work with?

Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, WhatsApp Desktop, Skype, Discord, Telegram, Slack, Webex and Phone Link calls are detected automatically. Any other app that plays the call through your PC works too: press Start Call.

Is my audio uploaded to the cloud?

No. Speech recognition runs offline, on your PC. Audio and transcripts stay on your computer. Only your email and licence status reach our server.

Do I need headphones?

No. On laptop speakers your microphone also hears the other person, so Call Transcriber keeps their voice and faint background sounds such as typing out of your own lines. Headphones still give the cleanest result.

How much does it cost?

It is free for 30 days, with no credit card. After that it costs $14 a year (the best value) or $3 a month, the same price in every country, for unlimited calls on 2 PCs. Your saved calls stay yours: you can always open, copy and export them, even without a subscription.
